Each week, Under the Tent hands out coffee, tea, hot chocolate, nutritional shakes (such as Boost and Ensure), various food items, clothing (ex: socks, pants shirts, hats, belts, underwear, footwear, coats, mittens), blankets, along with other necessities specific to living rough (ex: bandaids, toiletpaper, soap, deodorant, towels, blankets, cushions, sleeping bags, dog and cat food), while providing friendship and much needed information for housing and community services. 

While supplying basics of life, we also build relationships among our homeless friends by building community. It is common to see people stay the entire time we are open because they find it safe and comfortable. One friend abandoned their decision to end their life because they found a sense of relevance and recognition. We work tirelessly to help the homeless to transition from street life to a more stable home-oriented existence.
